Well it’s Dec 2nd in Vietnam. Mike and my 7th anniversary and Swiffers 9th birthday. Feeling a little home sick today. We will celebrate when I'm home. Today we slept in til 7:30, had breakfast, and boarded our bus for the airport for a 1 hr flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Got to the Saigon airport where there must have been half the city in line for immigration. Good thing the plane was a little late or we would have still been in Vietnam. Boarded the plane and landed safely in Cambodia. Well….. now we need to apply for tourist visas and apply for an arrive Cambodia app prior to paying $30 US. Our computer illiterate group took so long applying that the airport was completely empty when we made it through customs. lol. Gotta picture only our 5 suitcases going round and round the carousel. Made for a great laugh. Oh and Brenda and Garnet got hauled in for carrying aerosols in their carryon. Wait for it….. it was my bug spray. Ugh. lol now Im in a mosquito infected country with no bug spray. Good thing the resort we checked into supplies it in your room like they do shampoo and soap. After checking into our hotel we walked the resort checking out the pools restaurants and bars. Oh wait it’s happy hour so down to the pool for $1.25US beers. Excellent. Then over to the other fancy poolside restaurant for supper of pizza and wine. Thanks to Brenda and Garnet. After supper we suited up and hit the pool for a swim. Now once again we are back in our rooms for the evening. Tomorrow will be an early start to visit the famous Angkor Wat temple.
