Well it’s been 2 weeks of celebrating my 60th birthday. Omg how did that happen. I still feel 20. First on Aug 7 the Celebration started with Mike taking me out for a great supper at Montanas, complete with cake and drinks. It was so nice. Then we get home to find out WestJet had cancelled my trip to SanFrancisco (only the going part not the return trip) Hard to come back if you don’t go, so I spent about an hour on the phone with Expedia getting another flight. Only one available was a day earlier. Soooo guess we’re going tomorrow. Hope my manager is ok with that cause I have to leave work at noon to make it in time. Aug 8 Bev and I meet at the airport around 4pm and off to SanFrancisco we go. 6 nights spent touring, walking, and sightseeing. Oh did I say walking. Ugh up hills everywhere. So awesome. Spent my actually birthday going to Alcatraz and having supper at the Crab house on pier 39. A major highlight for our trip was the ride in the Waymo car. Driverless jaguar to the scene of Fullhouse! Made me sad as I remember how excited Melissa was to see SanFrancisco years ago. Warmed my heart as memories flooded in. Then a baseball game to finish our trip. Was hoping for a 49ers game but they were out of town. More reminiscing as I shopped for 49ers gear in memory of Stacey, her favorite NFL team. Aug 14th home to a yard and house full of decorations. So thoughtful. Sooo the party continues with a surprise not surprise party lol at our house put on by my sweet sisters Lynn and Brenda and of course Mike making everything beautiful for the party. Had about 20 people come and celebrate my 60th! Well back to work and now looking forward to my bucket list trip to Vietnam Cambodia and Thailand. Only 3 more months. All fees are due and paid. Now to enjoy the rest of the summer!
