Well the day has finally come! Nov 15, 2024. My trip to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. It’s been a dream of mine for many years, finally coming true. Soon I will pick up Brenda and Garnet, and we will head to the airport to meet up with Bev and Jerald. Our first flight leaves tonight at 7:40 from Calgary to Vancouver. Then, just after midnight, we fly from Vancouver to Taipei. After a couple hour layover, we will make our final destination from Taipei to Hanoi Vietnam. This itinerary will start November 15 @ 740pm and end in Vietnam @1115am November 17th. Total in air time is over 18 1/2 hours. The longest flight is 13 hours and 20 Minutes. Should be interesting!
Last night Mike and I celebrated our 7th anniversary with a great Lobster dinner and wine, as I will be in Cambodia on Dec 2. It is also Swiffer’s 9th birthday that day so he got a new rug to snuggle on while I’m gone. Will miss these guys but so excited to see the world!
